I’ve seen posts about breast cancer, but I haven’t seen any posts on ovarian cancer.
Ovarian cancer is known as the “silent killer” because often symptoms become more apparent too late and a chance for a cure is rare. Common symptoms are listed in the picture above. Symptoms like these are common and can be caused by other ailments, but if they are unusual or last a long time you should see a doctor, preferably a gynecologist. Treatments can include as follows: surgery, chemotherapy, hormone therapy, targeted therapy, and radiation therapy.
My aunt died of ovarian cancer. She kept getting misdiagnosed. By the time she was correctly diagnosed, it was too late. Please be aware of the symptoms! It could save your life!

Fun things to say when someone tells you they’re going to go to the bathroom:

  • Stay safe
  • Congratulations
  • That’s what they all say
  • Different strokes for different folks
  • I hope you have the time of your life
  • But you have so much to live for
  • Please explain
  • think of me
  • Don’t fall in
  • I’ll alert the media
  • Good luck
  • Have fun
  • Mention my name and you’ll get a good seat
